..you have the choice of a blood test...if the blood test shows some
evidence you then submit to a rectal exam...or you wait until you are
about 70 and while dying of heart disease or some other disease you
can also slowly die from prostrate cancer...it is like a vegas bet...which
do you want to succumb to ?....no getting out alive...no strong physical
life after age 80 for the majority of people...all your friends die off
or get put in homes...they take away your driver's license...you wait
for liberty medical to deliver your "ongoing health supplies"....you
start looking forward to oatmeal for dinner....buy a pistol...i did...take
the roman way out when you know you can no longer stand on your own two feet...

for a prostate cancer test. Anybody has info on this or has gon through it?
Many thanks in advance for your guidance.
Originally posted by SeitseI've had it a couple of times. I think you're still suppose to get a "digital" (as in finger) exam. Most men don't like it, but you'll survive.

Why the worry
There is only two things in life to worry about, either you're well or you're sick.
If you're well there's nothing to worry about, if you're sick there's only two things to worry about, either you're going to get better or you're going to die.
If you're going to get better there's nothing to worry about, if you're going to die there's only two things to worry about, either you're going to heaven or you're going to hell.
If you're going to heaven there's nothing to worry about, if you're going to hell you'll be to busy shaking hands with your friends and relations to worry about anything.
Originally posted by SeitseDo it and do it quick. A friend of mine had prostate cancer and he was only 35. He is still alive after the treatment, but he is still very thin (was 100kgs) frail and the thing that hurts him the most is all the chemo therapy and the heavy medications took away his ability to get an erection.Took him a while to learn to live with that.

More men now die of prostate cancer than women of breast cancer in Australia.
Get it done mate.
