More like misleading information, call it as you wish!

This is what you said: The guy who started it and is currently the CEO is from, and still lives in, London (Ontario), just "down the road" from where we live.

You did make it appear like he was just down the road from where you lived. 😉

Speaking in kilometers and not miles and more or less approximately, is "down the road" from where we are any closer than "up the road" from where we are? Is the angle of separation a factor?
