A disgusting show trial reaches it's disgusting conclusion, but I think these Women have lured the Russian hierarchy into showing itself for what it is, a disgusting regime.

I hope it is worth 2 years in the slammer. I imagine they will serve a couple months then outside political pressure will get them off.
Then they could do the same thing in a mosque! Wouldn't that be something....

That might have to wait until some Saudi or Pakistani women grow a pair, if Pussy Riot do it they will write it off as part of the Crusade's.

The concept of Church and State is never good news for the poor and oppressed.

It is disheartening to see the support that this ex KGB operative gets, but there seems to be a growing disjoint between his solid rural base and the more affluent/better informed urban electorate who are getting much more vocal in their opposition.

I wonder what would say some people if such thing happened in Westminster Abbey or in St. Paul's Cathedral. Would they still continue to dissemble?

People can say what they what they like, I would say Bravo, it is only a problem when the state locks dissidents up for dancing in a church. In a free society religion has to take criticism like everyone else.

"Would they still continue to dissemble?"

Who do you think is dissembling? for myself I am posting in support of Russians who are striving (at great cost to themselves) for freedoms I take for granted.

If you want a proper definition of dissembling watch RT like I do.

I'm tired of hearing about the pussy riots. Prisoners are entitled to food, water, and bathroom. They can work out sex between themselves though.

They tried that, it resulted in 'batty' riots.

Haha, 'pussy riot'... Sounds like what happens when phlabs, cft, handjob andy, huck et. al. get together at their favorite Chucky Cheese and start acting tough with the pre-teen crowd.

So get stuffed, I demand a permanent ban. Only just so I can get my way. This site is a cesspool. I stayed away for a long time hoping things would get sorted by the administration. Hah! I guess I'm just too optimistic. Go lemmings go! Feed the wallets of Russ and his henchmen.
