Does anyone here who uses Window Live Messenger with a webcam know if it's possible for two or more people you are in separate conversations with to view your webcam at the same time?

I use WLM but not with a webcam. But, I asked my friend here and she says that you were able to on MSN but she doesn't think you can on WLM. [Strange, I would've thought you could]
Anyway she said you should use Yahoo messenger where you definitely can do it.

Don't blame me if this is bull - I'm just passing it on.

No. But I think the person who encouraged me to buy the cam might be. 😲

Haha!

If you get yahoo messenger you can interact with WLM contacts now as well, so that should solve your prob.

I know that with yahoo, all of your contacts will be able to see your webcam "invitation" if it is on -- whether you intend them to or not -- so it is possible that wlm is the same way.

I believe you just invite them individually to view your webcam on WLM

According to WLM help:

* If you're using your webcam in a conversation, you can invite only one person to that conversation. However, you can have several separate, but simultaneous, conversations with multiple parties.

Interesting. Someone told me it wasn't possible, wonder what it was they didn't want me to see.

You can have a thousand people or more view your webcam - but only one at a time, according to all the information in their help pages.
