Just remember, a kitten does, eventually, turn into an old cat. Now cats do, on occasion, live to a relatively ripe old age so it, the boiler may just outlive you. 😉

mmm i love roast tatties. apparently the secret is to pat them dry before roasting and to give them plenty of space 😀

Pre-boil in very salty water.
Dry on paper towelling.
Roast in very hot chicken fat with sprigs of Rosemary on top.
Voila!

(Have not tried polenta .... yet!)
