My friend's parents were 'Christian Scientists' which she tells me means that they refuse to use any medicine at all. When she was a young girl, her and her mother were almost dying of pneumonia when finally her brother saw sense and called an ambulance. Unfortunately being American and having no medical insurance due to their religion, they were billed for tens of thousands of dollars for years afterwards. I don't think all Christians are so misguided, but it seems to me that it can be dangerous to hold any such dogmatic beliefs.

Yeah, the persecution of the christians on this website really upsets me as well. It is sad that one gets persecuted and bullied because of their believes isn't it? Christians are not persecuted and ridiculed just on this website, Rag, but in Sudan, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, sub-Saharan Africa, Pakistan, Indonesia, and Ireland where they are simply murdered...don't forget that Islam was "spread ...[text shortened]... e sword" from Spain to China....and quite a bloody swath too...😉
