actually prestwich which is just up the road is home of forensic services and is where the former hospital was for people with mental illnesses
It's bound to be turned into a housing development.

When I first heard the name Radcliffe I kept hearing a spooky voice in my head shouting: "Cathy...Cathy..."

Turned out I was thinking of heathecliff instead...

Why don't you move?

To expensive. All the good caves are on either coast line and property is super expensive there. All the caves around where I live are rundown and dirty and littered with bugs so it's not even an option.

You could move to Radcliffe and buy a terraced house from as little as £80,000 or one of the new 3 bedroom semis for £180,000 but you'd have to be mad

Is that a pre-requisite for living in radcliffe?

See Atlantic Ocean comment. If I were mad I wouldn't be here right now, I'd be off killing political leaders so that isn't an option either 😞. Blasted government and my lack of boats 😞.

My God Jo, you've managed to put Prestwich and Radcliffe on the RHP map *Round of applause*
Yup, A big fat hairy TESCO supermarket resides there now. Oh, and a big hotel thing. Travelodge or something. And a TGI Friday's bar. It looks like legoland.

If you've got Legoland on your doorstop, the Smurfs can't be too far off.
