What a punk. I havent been in the forums for a while, but it seems obscene that people are still getting away with cheating.
That being said, if I actually resorted to cheating, I would make sure that my rating was WAY over 1300.

they really dont bother me, but how about a name and shame section.
just look at the area and send message, challenge the sukka (everyone challenging him would soon clog up his email box) etc.
i can see no way of stopping it without extra db scans looking for the trend which would give russ more work and the db more work.

Yawn!!! Come on guys, it's like your in a room complaining about cockroaches. The first one or 2 we saw I can understand everyone running around shouting "uuurgh, a cockroach, how disgusting" but after the 20th one I'd have expected it to have died down to "oh, there's another one".
Let's face it, they're unpleasent but very few actually do any harm; running around flapping our arms about causes more harm than the original roach did. If you spot a case how about telling the guys with a the bug zapper (C&R) quietly and not getting everyone worked up.
Chrismo is in the middle of making a 'roach motel', and we'll wait and see how well it works, but there will always be bugs of one sort or another. Accept it.
As for a "name & shame" forum, it's a horrific idea. This case is clear cut, but many aren't and cheating is impossible to prove in most cases. Such a forum is just asking for flame wars, which again would be more damaging to the site than the original cheating.
