Meatballs...All cultures in the world make them. Fish balls, pork balls, chicken balls, turkey balls, beef balls, lamb balls, sausage balls, veggie balls, and others creative cooks thoughtfully make to provide nourishment to the hungry. A pound of ground meat with added finely shredded or chopped veggies like carrots and spinach, an egg or two, some bread crumbs or grains like oats and cooked rice, some finely chopped onion and garlic, herbs and seasonings, some liquid like milk or tomato sauce...make a very reasonably priced meatball meal. Meatballs can be eaten by themselves or with a sauce. Red sauce, cream sauce, sweet and sour, barbecue, nutty, fruity, smoky, spicy and hot sauce and so on. A saucy meatball dish served with some noodles, rice, corn meal mush, mashed potato or good bread, some fresh salad make a wholesome meal for you and your family. Good eating to all! 🙂
