I remember going thru this when my oldest son was just a puppy. not a pleasant experience.
I packed him up and went to visit my mother who had a gas stove. Anything to stay warm, even riding in the truck.

only five more days and then stuff's back to normal for who knows how long

the dogs and me spent four hours in the truck yesterday
some of it just sitting because most texas drivers are totally unaware of what ice is

and i just used a proposition at the end of my sentence

I remember that when I was a kid. Hope you have a good supply of candles, a good sleeping bag and it doesn't last too long!

Staying in a little village and apparently someone crashed into a power cable knocking off the power for the entire village last night... thank you for generators. Used to be a common occurrence on Peru, must be Sunday, the power is out.

I agree where there are power outages, it doesn't seem fair to take a skull.

We know for a Fact Texas are having issues with their power as it is all over the news.

Maybe something Russ should look into as he does when there is going to be a site outage?
