Rear View Mirror

In my RHP rear view mirror I notice happy children in schoolyards intent on their play; tranquil individuals at home and comfortable with themselves;

relaxed couples enjoying the daily encounter of wedlock and fulfilled; dead men walking in degrees of stupor, blackout and scar tissue of their souls.

Treacherous highways out there. Stay on the high road. Brave it with a smile. Maybe we'll catch up with each other further down the line. Thank you.

Thanks to a few friendly personal messages and clan/club posts I've realized the purpose of this thread has been seriously blunted by my own

understated approach/overly nuanced language style. If you know me at all, across the chessboard or on the forums, you well know yours truly

is hardly a guy who is likely to be tied down by decision errors, blunders or circumstances. I own up to them. So here's the straight of it. Realized

it's really a colossal waste of energy, expectation and time to continue contending with overgrown children, amatuer cynics and professional fools.

Thanks again to my many wonderful chess opponents and trusted friends. Of course we'll still stay in touch over the board, by email and phone.

-Bobby

Your quest for deep philosophical discussion is wasted on this site (or at least in the general forum).

That's just not what people come here for.

Consider making a "philosophical clan" so your efforts are not wasted.

Great song, although I prefer summer it's gone off that album.

So now your words are clear Bobby, Seeing this forum in your rear view mirror. Very good. There are many doing the same. The rear view mirror, yet it never dawned on me that you were leaving. I should have, but I didn't see it coming, I always felt your were the lighthouse that guided us through the storms. Not you too.

The old sea captain always goes down with the ship. :'(

He's said it before, he'll say it again. He can't give up, he hasn't the willpower.
