Then why when I do a search for players on RHP is his name still there? And his games. Isn't the account just scrapped?
The account is deactivated, but his games cannot be scrapped, because that would require his opponents' games to be scrapped as well.

OK I see that, and it's fair. But couldn't they just reposition him in line with where he was b4 he played or encountered their games? Or is that too complicated?

Must be too complicated. I really don't understand what you mean. 😳

Unlike the world beyond internet chess, here history is considered history and cannot be changed to suit those whom it has blessed. 🙂

History of the player who was playing the player who was banned... not too complicated... didn't you get that?

So the game is deleted and the ratings, tournaments, clan challenges, clan leagues, sieges, etc, are recalculated as though the game didn't exist?

I think that probably is quite complicated to programme.

I think the Site Admins have preferred to take action that best rectifies the current "wrong", without actually changing any of the past data in the RHP database.

A friend of me seems to have violated section 3c, "unreasonably harashed someone".
does this police team gives warning before banning anyone?
I know there are some behaviors that are not acceptable but not all situations would deserve a direct banning, there are too many users which dont know those TOS and they get surprised being banned.
This although could be legal but might not be fair!

Game mods are not involved in cases of 3(c), and only rarely involved in cases of 3(a). We deal almost exlusively with 3(b).

Bannings are carried out by the Site Admins (Russ and Chris), who may or may not issue warnings first.

Best to send them feedback for a definite answer.

Was only a Q from missus. She said ,"coming to bed?" I said "improve your breath honey." She said ,"Colgate?" I said, "have you tried drinking piss and garlic love?"
