Bank cheque, the player will moan soon enough if they don't get their star after you have taken their money.

Just start their sub from when you find out who they are and in the meantime enjoy making loads of money from the interest on the funds received 😛

The alternative is to spam all non-subs, so this is just a shot in the dark hoping they may read it. I can normally work it out from email addresses (where a real world name makes up part of it) when a name isn’t provided, but in this case, I have nothing to go on.
