Just the cumulative effect of a nine month trend: the general disdain for conversation in this inhospitable forum.

Can it be that we are like (married) couples that haven't much to say to each other anymore - either we have said it before, or we agree on most things, or we disagree and there isn't much point in going through all that again...?
