Hi all,

Thanks in advance,

Welcome..

You can play 6 games if you are not a subscriber, but once you do, you can
play as many games as your heart desires, join (or form clans), play in
tournements....

Personally, I think on this site is where your money should go. Its great,
with a HUGE community and very well designed.

Personally, I like yahoo chess when my opponents are taking all of their time bank...Set the clocks for 10min a move and have fun.

EDIT: BTW, don't play msn "zone" chess, they have TONS of hackers.

Here's the deal about this site: its a kind of extended community,
sibling rivalry, like minds, arguments, debates, namecalling,
in short, just like home. That seems to be the real binding power of
this site. Most other sites don't have that feature, these blog forums
make this site unique. Don't play at Yahoo chess, its full of real
idiots who don't hesitate to use computers to boost their rating
or get multiple accounts to boost their rating and try to make people
think how great they are. Here if you use multiple accounts or use
computers you will be found out eventually and booted off the site.
We want human versus human play and only single accounts, that
way it levels the playing field and if a guy has a 2000 rating you
can feel more confident that would be his strength if you were playing
him in person. There have been a bunch of people booted from the
site for using computers and we want to keep it that way. Welcome
aboard if you decide to subscribe. Don, AKA sonhouse.

Well, this is a cool site. Stay. After all, I'M here.

Everybody loves me.

Except not really, but stay here anyway. Good chess, good forums, good Europeans, good Americans, good Asians, good Austrailains, good Iranians, and good times here.

*smiles at memories made at RHP*.

I have used other sites. But since I joined rhp , my breath has been fresher, my sheets whiter, and I'm a full 3" taller. (And the women have been all over me!)RHP REALLY works!

MSN also does not follow basic chess rules such as the three position rule.

I subscribe to both here and gameknot (also chessagames but only to use their opening database...that's probbaly not the best value but that's another story). I find this better although there is no postpone game facility (to allow for holidays which is why I subscribed to gameknot). The only thing wrong with this site IMO is the holiday issue, if you enter tournaments (which can take well over a year to finish) then be prepeared to loose on a timeout due to holidays (or by moving too quickly due to combined limited internet access/nagging gf in tow during a holiday)
