a) I don't care much for the rest of the contributors, I concentrated on ATY as this is the thread I first saw (I still didn't find the original offensive post) and ATY's post merited addressing on its own.
If you can point me in the direction of te first offender, I'll raise the discussion with them also. Will that satisfy you?

c) A very emotive post relating to an area which is quite clearly close to your heart. As others mentioned, you have some sensory perception there if you can tell none of us do anything. The problem I have with your post is that it reminds me of the charity-muggers (chuggers) I get accosted by in the high street each day - they each have their own cause to raise as an issue - e.g. please sign up to help oxfam, p.s. don't go near the scope chuggers at the end of the road there, we need your money more than they do.
So where do I help out? Do I look for a local victim shelter, or how about local youth development sports schemes, or how about local wildlife trusts? Is local not good enough? I'll go work on a national scale encouraging others to help protect a local shelter/scheme/SSSI? Maybe I should go global and preach to all about saving the gorillas? Or christian Aid or the Red Cross? Can i do all at once?
What I certainly do is I try to help - but I won't have others preaching at me where and when I should be helping. THAT is all I'm saying.

No one said he did anything wrong, we were having an adult discussion. Giving him a chance to clarify what he was willing to talk about. This isn't about naming and shaming anyone. And not about banning either, but about hoping that someone will try and be more responsible and think when it comes to barley teens that are here on this site or in public e ...[text shortened]... so. Agree with who you want, when you have a child of your own sometimes your beliefs change.
RN also pointed out the legal side wich suggested one wrong had been comitted and another would have been had the minor not broken off contact with ATY.
I can only say on reflection that ATY brought this on with the content of his first few posts in this thread - had the description of events been worded differently (more sensitively perhaps, with a little more thought), I'm sure the thread would've taken a different course and this discussion wouldn't continue.
