The only time I ever heard the phrase as you stated it, it had a totally different connotation. Taking a mick was short for Mickey Finn which was another term for spiking a drink with a drug on an unsuspecting individual. Somehow, that connotation did not work in your context....so I assumed the line I explored regarding Mr. Mouse.

Humm, never seen it used like that. Now I understand what you were saying. Now responding to you being the butt of the joke....well I thought we were both trading barbs (good naturedly I might add) and I got one in that offended you. If so, try not to be so sensitive. I mean no one any harm (actually that's not true...there are 3 or 4 of them out there...nevermind) with the posts. It is all in fun (except for the red hot thong...that is real 😉 ). If it makes you nervous about losing the fair Raven to me, I will step aside for you. Not sure how Raven will feel about it though...we've grown into quite an item of late. Maybe you should ask her. Hopefully that makes everything all better now.

Should we "Clap for the Wolfman" or beware of the "Werewolves of London"?

You know those were both songs right? "Clap for the Wolfman" was by The Guess Who and "Werewolves of London" was by Warren Zevon.

It was a joke. 🙂
I was able to look up the second one, but the first didn't much to me. 🙂
