I am not perfect and have never claimed to be (except jokingly). And I don't go after people for minor occasional spelling errors. However, mixing up your theirs or yours or just being a complete dolt is deserving of ridicule. How else will people learn that it's not ok?
Someone asked you a direct question and instead of answering you spouted a whole lot of crap that doesn't relate to anything. That sounds like avoidance to me.
