What is a restroom? I always wondered...... πŸ™„

Is it a place to have a dump or a waz, or is it genuinely a place one goes to rest?

I could understand the usage of 'toilet', as that is a place to dump or wee.... but restroom? I just never could get my head around one of those. πŸ˜‰

W.C makes sense. Toilet makes sense. Lavatory makes sense. Restroom? Is somebody having a larff?

Or is a rest room a genuine place for overweight Americans to go and rest during work hours, due to fatigue problems? πŸ˜›

If you are constipated, it turns out to be a room of rest......

Bathroom isn't much better. I prefer to keep my toilet in a separate little room, I don't want it to have to share a bathroom. Might as well keep it in the corner of the bedroom!

One time, in a galaxy far away and long ago I was in the Air Force. A buddy of mine came in from a night on the town, drunk as a skunk. We all lived in this long barracks with individual rooms. So my buddy is trying to find the restroom, latrine, whatever, stumbles into another guy's room, sees a VW bumper on the floor in the corner of the room, thinks that is the urinal.......Chaos ensuesπŸ™‚

Public bathroom is an oxymoron.

I would consider any other room in a dwelling/structure to be more amenable to "rest" than that particular room. Somehow I don't associate "rest" with taking a dump. Far from it, if you have eaten jalapenos or habaneros in the past day. No rest there, with flames shooting from your rear.

Not if you were in ancient Rome, they loved them.

The two are not mutually exclusive. A rarity maybe.

Ok picture this... you're in the bath but suddenly really need to go to the toilet... it's not a shower you can't pee in the bath. Toilet is in the bathroom, you get up use it and go back in before getting cold. What do you do if they're in separate rooms, eh?

I find that you can pee in the bath if you approach the proximity of the plug hole with your 'outlet'. Pull out the plug and start to pee. THe urine is immediately removed. When finished, replace the plug, et voila.

Caution: Don't get too close, you might get a nasty suck.
