Just been having another look at the Friends Reunited web site... I see that now you can not only look up old school / college friends you can also find old work mates and even people that used to live on a particular street or road...
With this in mind I would like to state my claim and copyright the following ideas for future use: 😉
1. Busstopsreunited
2. Traincarriagesreunited
3. Checkoutqueuesreunited
4. Waitingroomsreunited (sub divisions for Doctors, Dentists etc)
and of course
5. Webforumsreunited (how many times has a site gone awol leaving you wondering where all your fellow forum contributors have ended up?)
Any other ideas?

Originally posted by RhymesterI don't have any other ideas, but I think there might really be milage in the "websites reunited" idea. Many times I've seen a website die overnight, and the regulars scattered to the 4 winds. You see them on similar boards, calling out for each other like lost lambs. Now, if there was an established web "meeting point" that everybody knew existed, then every time some site vanished or went down unexpectadly but temporarily, the members or even owner of the site can create a forum at said site to regroup, find out what's going on, and what they plan to do/where they plan to go next.
