Of course :-). My money (if I was a betting man) would be on the draw, with Australia retaining the Ashes.

man i gota try that next time i get a chance to play.

so just to clearify- you have to put both your forefinger ad middle finger by the side of the seam?

So if u want the ball to swing left to right u put your fingers to the left and vis a vis if u want to go the other way?

Put as u say, its the confidence of aiming the all 6ft wide of the batsman thats the hard part mentaley anyway!
Ok I'm left handed so I will talk you thgough it. This is like a swinging slower ball. (very slow with my slow bowling technique) . And it will swing, like I said the batsman adjust and then it swings a bit more hopefully catching and edge.
(for the left hander, just do the reverse for right-hander)
This is for bowling an outswinger for a right handed batsman.
1.Grip the ball with middle finger on right edge of seam with forefinger right next to it.(the weight therefore is being thrust along the side of the ball and not the middle)
2.Have shiny side of ball pointing to leg side and turn the seam slightly left. Still up and down but seam pointing towards the slips roughly.
3. As you deliver the ball aim for about 6-8ft wide of the batsman.
the ball should come out not at the trajectory of where you aim but hopefully towards leg stump.
4. The ball will come out slower as it should be sitting in the back of your hand more than if you had both forefinger and middle finger right down middle of seam.

As far as I know no one has invented this ball before. I tried it because I was always given the old cherry and wanted to try to make it swing.
