So I wrote a highly critical review of a product on Amazon the other day and they didn't publish it. Is it common practice for Amazon to not publish reviews until after the holiday season? Has this happened to anyone else?

They only publish the interesting ones.

It's crap, although accurate, might not be what they're looking for.

While we are discussing Amazon.com I just want to just say--- Down with the kindle!

I want to read books the old-fashioned way, by holding a fresh copy in my hands.
I want the whole sensory experience of admiring the beauty of its cover, smelling the delicious aroma as I flip through the crisp pages. And grooving to the blurbs that tell me what a wonderful reading experience awaits me.

It's like wine tasting.

And I don't want to see the Post Office, an American institution with a rich history, be put out of business by people doing everything electronically.

Not really the route I took. I simply commented on the manufacturing of the item and the lack of quality.

By coincidence, I have a low priority project for RHP right now which involves book reviews. I was hoping we could pick up some referral fees from Amazon, so I wanted to get it in well before Xmas. When this is released, if anyone does care to use it, they can be as critical as they like. Normal rules for inappropriate content will apply though.
