I bought the deli slices once just for a goof. I thought the name sounded funny and wanted to try it. Been a fan ever since.
So what does turkey taste like? Is it anything like chicken? If so, the imitation would have to be quite far off, or I wouldn't like it.

Tofu + Turkey = Tofurky ~ Brad + Angelina = Brangelina
Knowing your taste in food, you might be an exception. I'm sure most people would like it though if they gave it a try.
Originally posted by rbmorrisWho are Brad and Angelina, and what do they have to do with Tofurky, or with deli slices? I am confused. I am also still wondering what Tofurky Jurky Wishstix might be.

Tofurky Jurky Wishstix are Tofurky's answer to the wishbone that you get with a turkey dinner. They basically just taste like jerky (dried seasoned meat). I don't know why they call them "wishstix". They don't resemble a wishbone at all.
Originally posted by rbmorrisOkay, so when you talked about deli slices, you meant any tofurky products, and when you said you found the name funny, you meant "tofurky", not "deli slices" or some other name, and "Brangelina" didn't have anything to do with anything other than that it's a combination of two words/names like "tofurky"?

I have never heard about wishbones or jerky. Is the wishbone something like the almond in the pudding - the one who finds the bone can make a wish, or something like that?

The wishbone, known in anatomy as the furcula, is a sternum bone found in birds which is shaped like the letter Y. It is used as an attachment point for the wing muscles. It is so named because of a tradition: Two people pull on each side of such a bone, and when it breaks, the one who gets the larger part is said to have a wish granted.
