Rearry?
Take both our stats from this week and compare them. What would the score have been I wonder? 😉

And just for the record, I'm 8.5 games behind... not 12 "points" off. 😉
Originally posted by darvlayI meant what 8.5 games are you talking about? What is GB?
To be honest, it really makes no sense to use the GB standing system when there are draws involved. The winning percentage is what matters in this league. i was just bustin' balls, as usual.
You know if I do actually come in the top three, I'm gonna laugh my head off, cos I still don't understand jack about this 🙂

My big screw up was picking players from Sox and Braves so I could watch them on TV... Rather than taking Great Players! Gah!
P-
Yes, GB = Games BAck. It tells you how many wins you are behind the top placed team. Ties (draws) count as 1/2 of a win for your win percentage. The overall win percentage is the magic number, the higher win percentage, the higher standing. Starrman, you are doing fantastic for a guy who doesn't know jack about baseball. The post season is still ahead though, and if darvlay is going to fight for third like you suggest, he just might be fighting with you!! 😉
By the way phlab...what's wrong with Sox players anyway (don't answer that, we both know they don't stand a chance in the playoffs with their current pitching staff).

Just went and took a chance on young Felix Hernandez of the Mariners. So far, in his only three major league games, he's 2-1 with 21 Ks and only 3 walks! 😲 Both his ERA and WHIP are under one. And he's only nineteen years old. Incredible.

Don't let the Brits down now Liam - you're our only hope! Could any of my players help via a trade?
On a positive note - Your RHP chess rating graph is on the up though 🙂
