My participation in posting here goes back only months. From what I can see, the longtime posters put on a great show. One would be apt to believe that there are no enemies here, nor opposing forces waging a war of words. I see everyone here, with my exception, as longtime friends. I have said it before. People who really hate and despise each other do not stay together for all these years. It's said that only friends stay together, through thick and thin.
@pettytalk saidAt the end of a chess game all the pieces go back in the same box, while all posters here go back to their normal lives, hopefully undamaged by their encounters.

@ghost-of-a-duke saidOMG. I wasn’t aware that I was that wealthy. Is there anything left in the “kitty”? Speaking of kitties, what happened to yours?😲

@a-unique-nickname saidTrev,
PFC is private forum clan.
The PFC was Phlabs club and had all Mods and friends of the Mods in it. That is where The Silent Majority (TSM) came in which I was a part of, and the war of words started because of bias being shown. One doesn't argue with someone then ban them from the forum for a few days. That thankfully came to an abrupt end.
This is why you see me say from time to time how the Moderation has indeed improved over time. They may not always get it right, but they are much more fair in today's world than back then in my humble opinion. 🙂

@ghost-of-a-duke saidHow does that old saying go? Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words never.....

-Removed-Yes, they would periodically change the name but it always had the PFC in it, so no mistaking who it was. Of course anyone could tell by the names in it. 🙂 Back then all the Moderators names were listed. That has long since been removed, so no one really knows who they are. I know 1 is around for sure. I won't mention the name.
I believe one of the names was Pablum For Crybabies??? Now I could be mistaken on the exact name as that was over a decade ago now.

@very-rusty saidFriends of the mods? I was in it and had more bans than most.

@great-big-stees saidMy avatar now constantly evolves to unsettle forum adversaries and put off my chess opponents.

@a-unique-nickname saidOnly because you were being yourself and stirring the pot too much with some of the Moderators. 🙂
