RHP Mix CD Exchange III

I'm back! Did y'all miss me?

Big props to Angie for the CD that arrived yesterday, gave me something to do whilst in the cooler. Review to follow another day 🙂

Disc 2 of mine is in test at work today, it sounds ok but needs some tweaks. Will hopefully be sending off by the weekend.

Well Shav and I have successfully completed our exchange!

And now that my mix c.d. got the Shav "seal of approval", and I already have a mix list made up; anybody else want an exchange? You'll be getting the same one I sent Shav.

Well i got 3 discs from Fiesta 😲 Thanks Di. Very happy.

A quick review of the CD I got from Angie, who may want to post a full tracklisting if this is to make sense to everyone else!

1) First thought was WTF? This is a good tune though, Christina has a much better voice than Britney, and demonstrates it here.
2) Lol - barn dance country rock!
3) Cool cover of a "tafka'~'" tune. I thought it'd be heavier from Korn though.
4) Classic
5) Classical cover of another classic - brilliant! I gotta say I love strings.
6) S'ok. I'm not big on the Whitestripes though in general. It'll probably grow on me with a few listens
7) Zapptastic!
8) Radiohead always good.
9) (Don't read this Darvlay) It's ok again but not something I'd get into bigtime.
10) I love the intro! Classic older tune.
11) Ol' Rubber Lips doing his stuff - would make a good catch for an advert (probably mobile phone)
12) Nice.
13) New to me, catchy and bouncy tune. 🙂
14) Tom Waits - nice. Good deep gravely voice that's new to me. I'll probably check him out further.
15) I like this.. I'm sure there's some supertramp in the stack of vinyl I'm using for yours (I didn't use it though, but will be digging it out for a listen!)
16) This is a good song, don't get me wrong. It was played to death around me though and I struggle to listen to it these days.
17) A nice tune to end on.

Overall a good mix cd. I'm also pretty confident now that Angie will at least like bits of what I send in return. 🙂

well, first off-thanks to alpha10, his cd from mix cd exchange 1 arrived yesterday 😉 Sounds good from what I've heard so far.

rhb's cd arrived today. I've listened to the one made from the vinyl discs-lol, I don't know a single song on there 😛 I have to liusten to it a few times more though to see if I like it or not.
I'm currently listening to the second cd. I like that one, although I don't know any of the songs yet either. I've only reached track 12 yet though 😉
Could you perhaps post a track list? 😀 (and weren't you gonna post my tracklist "later"? 😛)
