Well i'm just wondering. Do you think you play better here on RHP, or when you play face to face?
I prefer RHP.. I think i play on here much better! One advantage is i have all the time to think of a good move, no one can bug me! While playing face to face chess, geeez your opponent, every second "Comon play" "I'm waiting" "Hurry up i'm sleeping down here" This leads me to blunder and lose the game eventually!
So which do you prefer?

I play better OTB. I often play offhandedly here because it's just the Internet and all, games drag on forever, have to leave the house and work and etc., whereas having an opponent right there in front of me makes me focus more.
I prefer playing on the board. I have a fine Russian chess set. Nobody will play with me though.
Has anyone tried playing RHP with a webcam set up? Wouldn't that be cool.
Have you ever played a game with one of those massive chess sets you sometimes find in parks and such places? I used to watch the hobos play outside the Johannesburg Library...never asked them for a game.
I i would play face to face with you katty, I would play much worser than on RHP as your whole apperance would definetly block my concentration.

On the other hand I really prefer a good game of chess with my pals.
Classic music (Bach), a good whiskey, a good pipe with a nice pipeweed and plenty of time. That´s what make a good game of chess.
