So far, it seems that only yourself, Tirau Dan and myself are entering this round.
🙁 Maybe there are people who would enter something for this round if they had much more time (not just until Friday, which would be pretty soon if you haven't taken the pictures yet and don't use a digital camera)? If so, maybe we could postpone this round and go ahead with the next one? I am in either way, but it would be more fun with more entries.

I don't mind.. the series is a bit time consuming.. I only have one ready with two in mind .. could be ready tomorrow if want to go ahead.

I don't have any ready yet. Still struggling with limiting myself to six pictures for the one I am working on...

I don't think postponing it will help.

I agree it won't be ideal if there are only 3 entrants, but that is still upto 9 entries, so what to hey?

We'll probably find that less people will be able to enter in some of the upcoming rounds.

Postponing it would help *if* there were someone who explicitly said they would like to participate, but wouldn't be able to make it until Friday. But if nobody has spoken up until now, it's unlikely this will happen, so I agree with you that we should just go ahead with this round. Not sure when I'll have my entries ready, it might take a few more days.

I've sent in a series of pictures. But I really have no idea what-so-ever what everyone means with "series"....

See Ragnorak's post on page 6 (last post on the page).

What kind of birds were those "penguins"?

They were penguins. Emperor penguins to be precise.

Yes.
Why wouldn't I be?

Because penguins can't fly, and they are only found in the Southern Hemisphere.

Rubbish.
Who on earth told you such nonsense?

Of course penguins can fly. All birds can fly.
In fact, it's a well known suburban disaster in Greenland. Herds of emperor penguins fly over the farms and their faeces block farm machinery.

They're a protected species though and the farmers can't do anything about it.

I think something like a series of pictures is harder to get together.
Might i suggest that whilst keeping the series section open for a longet time frame, but also introducing a couple of easier to produce catagories. That way the series cat` can overlap the next two. I for one might have at least a chance of getting something to enter.

I'm open to any suggestions which can make things more accessible and interesting for people, but to be honest, I don't quite (is that right Nordlys 😉 ) get you.

Do you mean to leave the series category open for a couple of weeks, while running the next category as well??? Sounds like a good idea if anybody is interested in trying to get something together. I'm just afraid that if I start pushing out deadlines, then interest will be much harder to maintain. Also, I listed the categories at the start of every round so people can see what is coming up and prepare if they wish.

Having said that, if your suggestion is what I think it is, then I like it. 🙂

You are either teasing me, or you are confused. "All birds can fly" is nonsense. And penguins in Greenland? If you are not teasing me, you probably confuse them with some other bird.
