I was asleep at the time, but judging by the state of my sheets I got the night sweats again.

I'm sure you'll agree that I'm not being condescending when I say that it's gobsmackingly impressive that 'Bits and Pieces' was written by someone for whom English is a second or third language.

The server went down at work, I thought I'd fill the time with a little writing, some words presented themselves, and I ran with them until I thought it was complete.

That's probably not a very satisfying explanation.
