If the communication between server and browser is solely instigated by the browser, and only at intermittent periods, then how does the server know whether the last computer to connect to the account has logged off or just has sufficient data in its cache to not need to communicate?
Maybe the little Flash app talks to the server every 5 seconds saying
'Hi account XXXX, I am still here from address XXXX with the unique login id XXXX you passed me when I first logged on, I do want any music just yet but when I am ready I will let you know'.
Who knows, but there is absolutely NO REASON why they could not do it.

flash. That would take a hell of a time if you think about it. The Flash is
continuously asking the server for the next ten or so seconds of music,
not to mention those adds that change with every new song.
So, the server has no idea if you've left the computer or not, but the
flash will keep telling the server that the session is still active. If you
don't give thumbs up/down or interact with the flash in any other way for
x number of minutes, the server will have to assume that you've left the
computer but that's as much as it will know.
Now, if I login with the same username and password as you do, then
there's going to be two different streams connected to the server, right?
Asking for the next ten or so seconds of music. The server will know then
that two people are using the same account at the exact same time.
So, it's not that hard to add a block for this eventuality, should they want
to.

Ok, this fricken radio rocks!! I seriously recommend using the "Quick mix" option. I think Pandora often uses one of the selected artists as a first selection when it opens a station, so when you use Quick mix you are getting a nice range of peoples actual choices rather than random other stuff... 🙂

I hope it's not IN the horizon, that would spell trouble!
Hey noodles, do you like George Winston or Liz Story? Awesome pianists.
I haven't listened to either of them, so I don't know if I would like them.
Originally posted by sonhouseI've listened to George Winston. It's nice, soft, relaxing kinda stuff. I don't know if he's technically (skill-wise) any good, but his music is good to relax to.
