I cross the border into Thailand and then into Malaysia [2pts]. From there I enter Singapore [another 1 pt]. From there I have to fly to Indonesia [costs 2 pts].

I have 127 pts. Visited so far: Yemen, U.A.E., Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Iraq, Jordan, Israel, Lebanon, Syria, Turkey, Iran, Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Russia, Kazakstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, China, Nepal, India, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia.

You can just about zoom in enough on that one, I think. I took four photos of the Asia pages in an atlas with my phone!

I fly from Dili to Singapur (-2)
and I cross into Malysia (-2)

I end up with 97 points.

It does but you cross over to the city-state from Malaysia on a bridge called the Johor Causeway.

cross into the Philipines (+1)
fly to Taiwan (-2)
and to japan (-2)

So I end up with 95 at this stage

I have 122 pts.
I am in North Korea and I fly to Timor Leste [-2pts] which, until I saw Ponderable visiting it, I had overlooked when I was in Indonesia and could have crossed into overland and earned 1 pt. I think I have been to every country in Asia. I will check [before proceeding to South America. I have 120 pts.

How do you travel overland from Brunei to the Philipines? I believe it is surrounded by Malaysia and the ocean.
