I worked with her once. She was lovely.
Individual talents are not interchangeable - there is not always another talent waiting in the wings to take her place. She has visibly influenced other singers, but they are not adequate substitutes. She simply leaves a gap and it will not be filled.
Is it not curious how nasty and insulting the attitudes are towards mental ill health and addiction? The desire to translate this into a matter of personal morality is not intelligent but reverts to pre-modern foolishness.
The circumstances of her death and her psychological flaws are depressing but maybe it would help to notice that her material success did not protect her, the efforts of people who clearly did care could not rescue her and the level of professional intervention available to her in The Priory and elsewhere was not capable of "curing" her. The point being that in fact she did go to rehab and it is not very effective.
