Rodney King

Rodney King, the man at the center of the L.A. Riots 20 years ago, was found dead in his swimming pool. Police and paramedics who arrived at the scene tasered him three times, beat him with nightsticks an additional 47 times, and once he was pulled from the pool stomped on him an indeterminant amount of times. The Sergeant on the scene explained, "He was bobbing in a threatening manner."
