Moonbus mentioned traveling, that's a great way to open people's eyes but what you see is the fact that being born in a country like the UK, while not perfect is much better than being born in many, many other countries.

But, to travel in the first place you need some money and a mindset to travel. Most don't have that.

No one can tell me that the world is a better place now than it was 20 years ago and it will only get worse.
One does not need money to travel. When I was 17, I hitchhiked across No. America, coast to coast. I slept rough, I washed dishes in restaurants in exchange for food. I witnessed incredible kindness and saw things that probably don't even exist any more in America.

So now you think money is needed? πŸ˜‰

I know it doesn't take a lot, I've traveled with meager budgets before and volunteered in places for food and shelter. Have met people spending less than i was... But you need the mind set to start. That's the real key.

Thats been tried throughout history.
It never ends well.
So has blaming people's actions on poverty and assuming they would be proper if they weren't so poor.
I'm not suggesting you have anything to do with my assessment. I'm just throwing that comment at the people who think it's only about money and that having money would make certain people better.

In England, I would just get one of the servants to give me a stretch.

Yep but remember, Ford has said that the private sector will take up the “slack” and we Ontarians will pay with our health cards, not credit cards.πŸ€”πŸ˜‰

No I think the people with the money will get better care and the rest will get the usual care.

It will free up some space for the time being.

A temporary fix.

Do the workers at the shelter mind being called servants?
