I know that I speak for the masses when I say this, Russ you have an amazing site here. Not all of us know what hard work goes into creating and maintaining a site of this magnitude, I just want to be the first to say that I appreciate everything you do to keep this site up and operating. It is no longer a site to me but more as a second home with my second family through my clan and the forums. I am sure you take time away from your wife at times to make sure Red Hot Pawn is up and running for its users. I know I haven't been with you since the early days but through listening to some of the old faithfuls I have learned that this site has made great advances in the past 3 years. I cant say how devasted I am when RHP is down and I am cut off from the rest of my family...I dont know if it is just the fact that I dont have a life or if anyone else experiences these same things. Red Hot Pawn has been with me through lots of things over the past year...through failed relationships to forged friendships even through losing my son...rhp was never meant for theraputic use but it certainly has become that for me.
Russ again thanks for everything you do to keep this site going.
Now I will go and sit back and let others say how they feel.

Recently I was hassled by a 'fly-by-nighter' on RHP and I reported it. Within 24 hours the miscreant was removed. I tried to hit reply on the email from Russ notifying me of his removal, just to say that I thought that this is the best site on the 'net and that it has kept me sane whilst looking after my kids (but my email bounced). It is RHP that keeps my brain working!

I was weird before but now thanks to RHP I'm even geekier then was ever expected of me. I've got no life outside of chess and thanks to RHP I've got sucked even further down the deep and dark path of becoming a chess guru way up in the snow plow hills of Wisconsin. This site is gradually becoming more depressing but yet I come back due to the great work of Russ and Chrismo. Thanks guys! Maybe there'll be a coupon for 30 cents off of eggs at your local mart when I renew my subscription 😉.
