Venables walked away over some dodgy dealings, Sven screws every secretary in the FA and keeps his £3M a year job.

And the team lose to Northern Ireland - do you think the players may have lost faith in Sven?

Can the FA afford to pay him off?
Or should he be charged with bringing the game into disrepute, so that they don't HAVE to pay him off?

And before you say it, I KNOW it's the first play off game that he's lost, but who cares?

Oh yeah - any SERIOUS suggestions on who would be suitable to take over would be most welcome....

The problem is, I've been discussing it with everyone I know, and we can't think of ANYONE!

Surely shagging his secretaries is one of the Swede's more sensible tactical strategies?

Plus, is it not a perk of the job? On the continent he would be expected to do so! It's only in England, where morals are so high, that it's a scandal when someone shags their secretary...

Anyway, he IS Swedish- you sasanach should be very glad he's not playing for the team which the vast majority of his compatriots play for, and, blaming it on a washing machine malfunction, changed your strip to baby pink, and criticised Beckham's hair dye... (continued 'ad infinitum', or at least for 94 minutes)...

😀

Enlighten me further?

EDIT: I think I get what you're suggesting, but I mean shav, I've read many of your posts, and you've a good sense of humour: could it be that some rather unsubtle sarcasm slipped by you in my previous post??

You can't really think people consider the people of Albion particularly stirling in their moral values without a little sarcasm?! Since the Victorians stopped covering their tables' legs, the country went rather to pot, you know...

(and the end result is that Jerry Springer has moved over there from the U.S.... what does that tell you!?)😲

Sam Allardyce would get my vote...

A great quote from Sam [with some paraphrasing I admit] suggested that "If my name was Sam Allardici I would be managing a top British club by now..." - Give him the England job - at the very least he would pick players who will fight 100% all the time
