I don't really mean it! But, seriously, how are we going to find our former McMenemy day glories?

I agree, but most Saints fans have not forgiven him for the first time round.

OK, many would think this a strange choice, but I have my reasons - bring back Chris Nichol!!!! I don't even know what he is doing these days.

Wasn't Shearer a saint?

If he want's to get into management, they might be a good team for him. Dunno if he'd be any good for them, though.

Recent events suggest that Shearer might well be our next manager. He must be a bit p...ed off with Keegan at the moment!

So was Charlie George! Indeed, Sir Alf Ramsey played for Saints.

I think Keegan would have been a good choice, but Newcastle have him!

My money's on Jason Dodd eventually being given the post, especially if results go our way whilst he is in temporary charge.

the problem is you have sold some of your best young players.. welcot, bale to name two.

such a shame.. the new manager will have a hard job when the best young talets have to be sold off all the time

That's the Premiership, for you. There was a time when it was not such a disaster to be in Division 2 - even England regulars played for Div 2 teams. Match of the Day often featured Div. 2 (and even lower) matches.

Good players simply want to leave, these days, for the higher glamour of the Premiership.

What to do about it? I don't know.
