Does anyone else agree with me and find that sweets taste so much better without salt added - to me the salt seems to ruin a perfectly good sweet

Why add salt if you want sweet? Why add sugar if you want salty? I agree it doesn't make sense, but salted nut rolls have been around forever almost and they are great! Basically sugar, peanuts and salt. Go figure. Or even simpler, beer nuts!

Wow, I did not know Lindt was available in the colonies!

I echo your sentiment. I want to melt all Lindt truffles, fill up
a pool, and swim in the gooey goodness until I have a heart
attack.
