I just graduated (assuming I passed everything!) but the people at UC Berkeley are 40% asian and the rest are mostly white. There are a few blacks and Latinos, but not many.

I've heard many people claim that the student body isn't that attractive on average, though there definitely are attractive people. Guys with asian fetishes are in heaven though.

There's a big divide between technical majors and humanities majors. The former study all the time and tend to have no lives. Those of us who did have a life tended to not pass classes. It's really hard as a science major there. Humanities majors party a fair amount.

There are two major social groups I can think of off hand, and they despise each other. There is the Greek scene and there is the co-op scene. The latter are sort of modern day hippie kind of people. I liked both crowds.
