Doesn't Posers & Puzzles contain most of the nerd fodder?

I think it's more for like puzzles, chess problems, riddles 'n' stuff and math, physics, etc should go in a separate forum. However, it's not that I really need it. I just made a proposal and decided to also post here because more people read General Forum, not Site Ideas.

Yeah. A science forum. That's all RHP needs.

You wouldn't be forced to post there.

Just like you tell people about your forum posts:

"Don't like don't bloody read it!"

😛

Well obviously you are 100% correct on this issue.
However, the deeper, underlying reason for me not wanting a science forum is that the fora we have are already filled with 87.569% crap. If we keep making break-off fora, then all we're doing is making good posts even harder to find.

It was Schroedinger who formulated it as such: x=yx(-2) squared.

This should go in the science forum.

And science (at least a part of it) is not crap!

I was being a bit sarcastic as I feel that sometimes you push things a bit too far and it isn't just about a person not liking it, so a person not reading it.

Agree with you on most points, but the main reason that makes me support a science forum is thinking that in this way most of the garbage some people post on scientific discussions could be discouraged.

This makes think about the culture forum that was proposed a while ago. Maybe it wasn't a bad idea joining these two fora. They are related after all.
