Ok folks. It rhymes with punt, it's in the dictionary, but would you play it if it was the best word you had?

Gee, it's gone awfully quiet around here. Has my little stunt made the conversation a bit blunt?

Why wouldn't I use the word hunt?

I was seeing if there were enough people with one track minds to get the thread deleted or not. 😀

I wouldn't have any problems with playing any words rhyming with "punt".

I'd use it, even if I had a much better word.

I know what you were implying, it was the first thing that came across my mind, I really wouldn't mind putting that word down.

It's quite strange actually. Most words that are considered taboo now have been in common usage at some point in time. The reaction to them is caused by some kind of social pressure rather than the meaning of the words themselves.

Why does aunt not rhyme with punt yet bunt, hunt and runt do, yet all you have done is change the first letter?

Strange

It's only a PG13 forum, so I don't think we should be talking about your cunning stunt.

I wouldn't, but I seriously doubt that carries any weight anywhere.
