second signup

HELP!! I tried to sign in and it said to register first as I put down my name part of my email as I usually do and it couldn't find me. As I had been off-site for over a year I thought I had been deleted so created a new account! Now I find my old account was listed under my complete name so how can I get rid of the 2nd account???
