Thanks,Chessnut,for bringing that point up.
Andrew?
Pointless meaning I don't see why you even posted in the first place. Except to stir things up for no reason.

I said this MANY times before but we just look to see if the post is offensive, pointless, empty, a duplication or senseless (there are posts with just random characters in them). Who posted them is irrelevant. However, it is true to ...[text shortened]... s made by some users who only ever make posts that fall into the above categories.

The forums were shut down for two days.
To get the forums back an agreement was reached that no one should flame.

So basically
You sit there bored
and create silly questions
in order to get people
stirred up and annoyed.
I'm glad
I could be of service
in helping understand
where you are coming from.
Nuts.
this is not worth falling out about.
Linda
Here is my two cents worth.
In many respects I agree with Linda, the questionable behavour by some people seems to go totally unmoderated. However, as Andrew will surely quickly point out the role of the moderators is to remove bad language or inappropiate comments.
But that role seems to be, in practise, either too much or not enough. The moderators sit on the fence, doing their role as predefined, and allowing material in that is questionable (in my opinion) and removing material that is harmless.
I never have, and never will, wish to be a moderator. It is an impossible job as it is currently defined. The question really is for me where should the line be placed for (in)appropiate behaviour. If you look at my posts in the general forum over the last fews weeks you will probably find where my opinion lies.
Thank you Linda for creating a thread where I could express my opinion.
