i can't imagine ebay being the best site for getting rid of a few books (or is it?) anyone know of any other more book related auction sites?

Sell them for other books. What do you have? I'm interested.

Isn't your Xaviera Hollander collection big enough?

I think ebay was good years ago...not so much anymore.

I'd like to know what books he has, too. I can probably mooch them for free!

probably not a lot that would be of interest to you.. a load of cookery books, a few on travel and the odd history/autobiographic book.

not really interested in swapping i just want to get rid of them.

Then usually the best way is to sell them locally in bulk. There's usually places who buy them by weight or something like that.

Don't you have tables in need for some leveling or a fireplace?

Books can also be useful for carving a space in the middle in order
to hide your hitman gun. Then all you need is the priest disguise
and, bam!, the Corleones are screwed.

Well, they buy it, sort it and then sell them back. Of course you get paid very little and the price depends on condition. They know that if you bulk sell then it's very likely to be mostly junk.

That sucks. What if you have excellent material?!
