I had an early Discrete Mathematics class and after that I went to grade papers in the tutor office.
I had a sausage roll for lunch, with some fruit juice.
The afternoon, I had to tutor a first year practical class, doing some Java programming.

All in all, it was a pretty boring day.

I remember a 15-year-old boy (I was 8), who pushed me.
I fell and my knees were red. I ran :'( to my home.
There ws it not so bad, because I saw that others had it worse thn me. 😉
That boy disappeared 2-3 months later, but I heard of him 4 months ago, he was allowed to see his parents in the weekends. 😀

If only it was as boring as that for the many who lost their lives that day in America.

If only.

Must say that on an ordinary day when thousands of civilian lives are peremptorily snuffed out, not just anybody would make it a point to

remember what he or she consumed for lunch. Must also add that the contrarian behavior isn't totally offensive in the playful context of my

own penchant for upstream, cross current and against the popular herdbound grain. Brings to mind W.H.Auden's "Musee des Beaux Arts."

In my 'defense', it was the BEST sausage roll I ever had...
