3 billion dollars you say...I wonder how big the Palestinian war budget is. And you´re crying about the poor Israeli children that lose their lives in this conflict. As you may know only a few days ago a 10 year old Palestinian girl was shot in the head and killed while attending school. That´s just one of countless crimes performed by the heroic Israeli army. Your country can stop this! Israel cannot afford this war all by themselves. But any president of the u.s. can forget about re-election if he should decide to cut off Israel. So the war between the "good Israeli and the evil muslim" can go on forever or until the ethnic clensing that Israel started in 1948 has been finished. I just want to make it perfectly clear that I am just as appauled by the tragedy of 9/11 as anybody else. These people were innocent but then again innocent people are killed every day...in Afghanistan...in Iraq...lots of places. You people are not alone in this world. Your actions have consequences! Also for yourselves.

I feel for the people who were touched by 9/11, it was a horrible tragedy.
But the world is a big place and we are extremely fortunate in this little part of the world we live in.

I agree that all should mourn 9/11...there is no other way to view such a senseless tragedy. But Iraq is an issue that can be discussed as it is a work in progress much like the war on terrorism. Many say the war on Iraq is unjustified and not related to the war on terrorism. I shall not argue, but merely point out that such situations are extremely complex, and what may appar pointless to us small folk may in fact serve some greater purpose. Terrorists cannot be fought with mechanized infantry; it just does not work that way. Subversive groups follow the mechanics of espionage not warfare. So it is clear that the invasion(and continued occupation of Iraq) is not a direct attempt to deal with the Bin Laden and his agents. However to say that it does not benefit our position in the attempt to capture and eliminate the terrorist agents is shortsighted. Our mere physical presence in a central middle eastern country is key to gathering information and providing our agents a more feasible base of operations...not to mention the possibility of using the liberated Iraqis to be trained for these jobs. They would be better culturally equipped to infiltrate such reclusive and dogmatic organizations. But I digress...Let us just remember 9/11 and and what we have learned about our enemies...they are ingenious, they are willing to die to accomplish our downfall, and they are not just going to give up and crawl into the brush, they are still active and out to attack us and our allies...they must be found and disabled, and we must mend the cultural rift that has caused this kind of madness to befall our nation.
