You are never going to be able to turn them round on this - this (and all other) spelling issue is taught to them at a very young age and therefore almost impossible to reverse.

Just like thier belief that the USA is the "greatest country in the world".

We just have to get used to ignoring thier silly ideas. 😀

Let go bro..

One day the "u" will emerge in full colour..
One day we'll change the "center" to "centre"..
One day the "Autumn" will concur and the "Fall" will fall..
One day there will be no stinking "diapers" but brand new "nappies"..

For the moment though, gimmi a Budweiser..

I don't understand why people insist on keeping that outdated 'u'. It's totally valueless. It wastes space. It's just...dumb. I can understand some other complaints about how Americans speak English...like using "flashlight" instead of "torch" (though that's defensible from either side) but this extra 'u' is just...dumb. Speaking of which, we really really should change 'dumb' to 'dum'.

Lever is another one... Via another.

Pull the Alumin(i)um Lever to activate the Router for the Oregano.

It's like a different language when spoken over the pond.
