Well in that case l must have many as my good friend the Lord of the Uesugi has been most succesful in the securing his. It seems the Lord of the Ryuzoji only has 2 hand boys himself.

what you will find when we are (excuse the Conan line) listening to the lamenatations of your women, is that our allies will be on the winning side. The (cough) Kyushu alliance is but a facade, a pipe dream and surely as all hypotheticals must, it will be tested and found to be an illusion.
You really should declare war before starting to brag about how our women are going to lament us (I doubt if Mrs. No1Samurai would). You had the opportunity to aid the Amako fleet; in fact, I fully expected it. But you prefer to gain territory by the methods of a shopkeeper rather than a warrior. Others can't do all your fighting for you, Monk; but this a good lesson to your and the Uesugi's vassals how worthless your "aid" is.

Oh the petulant Napoleonic syndrome is alive and well in the form of Kyushu lords.

You will see what happens very soon No1. If you are so confident why did you not declare war on me.

And l suppose by joining with the 3 Kyushu rulers our vassals would be safe, save your defence for the court room as there you stand a chance.

This works out better; though I did not count on your cowardice it is an added bonus.

Your vassals have no hope of victory while they are attached to lords who want their territory, but are reluctant to aid them if the battle looks too even.

Does this mean the Ikko Ikki fleet will be taking down the yellow flag?

Only if given permission, as we are loathe to act on our own as that take initiative.
