..ok...i have an idea...how about a nice white flag ( the jabobite
color ) with a green and purple thistle in the center...and if you would
like to add some worker's image to it you could have the thistle inside the hammer and sickle...not exatly in the center as the hammer head
sort of dominates the center of the sickle but just inside off the the
right of the hammer but still within the orbit of the sickle...but i
would prefer just the white flag with a nice large thistle...very clean
and simple...( will you make me high lord of glasgow for my idea ? ).

We don't have any sort of formal policy on replacing the flag.
Its no coincidence thugh that the press are running with this story at a time when 2 of our key policy initiatives are about to be debated in the Scottish Parliament.
It is simply a diversion, to draw attention away from serious, sensible policies we are actively promoting.
