i am supposed to get out of the marines the 24th or this month, but i tore my labrum(a ligament in my shoulder) and need to have surgery. does anyone know how long the rehab is for a surgery in this area. the end of my enlistment depends on the end of my rehab. man this sucks to wait for something for 5 years only to have it delayed for something as petty as this.ðŸ˜

Football players around 2 1/2 or 3 months.
Some of the medico's who play here should be able to give a ball park figure.
Good luck.

I had shoulder surgery to repair a bankhart lesion and labrum tear. I was in a sling for 5 weeks and went to physical therapy 3 days a week for about 8 weeks after that.
I'm 31, in good shape, but don't work out. My physical therapist said that my surgeon must have been good because I healed quickly and had less pain than average.
Good luck!
